loveworks

Paper tapes

finally I got these tools to Indulge this creative heart. I must say I am a fan of art, something unique and costumized, personalized things. Ever since, I love collecting special papers, magazines for cut outs, buttons, anything that will catch my skillful eyes. I remember collecting used wrappers, plastics, anything that everybody disregard but for me it's something that will materialized my so called art. Back in college, I chose not to have lunch or snack just to spare money for buying scrapbook materials. My mother would remind me of all the stuff I've been collecting because it looks like a pile of garbage to her. Maybe because  my organizing skill doesn't work well that time.
got this old Bible from my disciple. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a flash for the before look. Its really different from its old look. Using paper tapes, scrap lace ribbon, construction paper, and an extra metal dangling from my bracelet, I came up with this..

Buttons more!!
Yeah! I used them for designing my cellphone cases. Actually it has a better purpose. I always drop my phone because it slips through my hands even with a casing. So for me to take a better grip on my phone I did some add ons to the casing and voila!! this is what I got.

I also used buttons to design the loafer shoes made of plastic I bought with a very cheap price to make it look fun and trendy..

creativity can be Learn. You just have to be patient and clever on looking things.I'm looking forward for more "artsy" DIY, exertion.

Goal: be more creative and resourceful.

If you want it, fight for it!

Jacob wrestled with God

Looking back on my childhood days, I had this experience with my mother which really made a big mark in my heart. My mom was set then for a travel with my sister and I was so furious because she didn't want me to go with them. I was so mad and crying because I really want to go with them. I started to throw my things, anything that's in my reach but still she won't allow me. I kept on begging her to go with them but she keeps explaining why I can't. The reason didn't matter to me at all, because all I wanted is to be with them. I was so determined to really grapple my moms hands even her dress just to convinced her. But to my dismay , I wasn't able to.

The reason why I'm sharing this is not because of my disappointment with my mom, though I was, but I'm already healed from that experience; but my strong-will to get what I really want. Her reason didn't matter to me why she can't bring me with her, but what does matter to me then is I don't want to be left in the house again and just want to travel. That was really a "big battle" for me.

God is really generous with everything. He has graced us with all the blessing we need and even the blessing we don't deserve. But there are also things in our lives that we need to fight for and never let go, never surrender until that blessing is in our hands.

Jacob's Battle

The life of Jacob was full of deceit from the moment he was born. He outwitted his brother Esau twice, and he himself was also deceived by his father in law Laban. He ran away from his brother and left his father in law without permission bringing with him his family. He was also filled with fear upon facing Esau again, thinking that Esau would take revenge for what he did. His life was all about, hiding, running away, fear and deceit. Yet, amidst of all these, God chose to blessed him.

Genesis 32:12 NKJV
For You said, ‘I will surely treat you well, and make your descendants as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.’ ”

Perhaps, Jacob was thinking then that if this is the promise of God for him, why does his circumstances doesn't agree with it. He was tired of all the struggles and just want to see and hold on to the promise. As Jacob got the chance to encounter God, he never let the opportunity passed by without getting what he wanted. This is one of the powerful confession or command to God from a human.

Genesis 32:26
And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!”

its like saying to God, " enough Lord! fulfill now your promise " . Reminding God what he promised to you and changing your circumstances and destiny. For me its a brave exploit to do such thing. God is able. He possess all the ability to do it with just a snap of His hands.
Then, why do we have to wrestle and fight for it? I strongly believe that its a matter of faith and the strong desire to have it. As we chase for things in this world, investing our time, effort, strength, and all our resources just to have it, the desire to take hold of the things of God, the blessing, breakthrough and change must be bigger. You are willing to let go of everything just to hold of one thing that will really change the course of your life and eventually will lead to your destiny. You've been questioning God and searching for a change for a long time yet your unaware that it was prapared long time ago and just waiting for you to claim it.

The time for you to claim it has finally come. Wrestle with God, and don't let go , never surrender until God will outran his blessing in your life. Show your determination and faith that you desperately need and want it. Run after God. No retreat,No surrender.

pray.pray.pray

" Prayer is man giving God the legal right and permission to interfere in earth's affair"
Ptr. Myles Munroe

" Prayer is joining God in what He wants to do. Its about His agenda, not our agenda"

" Prayer is the alignment of our will to the will of God"

These were just few powerful definition of prayer. Prayer can change someone's life or even situation. God will move His powerful hands as His people will seek and call upon His name.

2 Chronicles 7:14-15
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.

Day 7 devotional:
Genesis 19:29 NIV
So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.

-- through Abraham's intercession for Lot and his family, God remembered them when He destroyed Sodom and Gomorah. Abraham plead for their lives and never stopped until God would consider.

Everybody needs our prayers; someone who will intercede on their behalf. We will never know what change or impact it will cause to someone's life. There are times when we are lead by the Holy Spirit to pray and we must obey that leading. As we pray and plead to God, we have this great assurance that He hears us and will answer us without delay.

Prayer gives hope. As our voices are lifted to His throne, God is moved through it and will just do miracles and amazing things.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray continually

Every prayer will be answered according to God's agenda and will. And we are confident that His ways are better than ours. Let us continue to pray and seek Him with all our heart and see what God can do.

We gather.We scatter

Genesis 12:1
The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

This is 2015;  A year of new things, promotions and breakthroughs.
The Lord has been so faithful to me; enabling me to take part and work in this vision of multiplication He started; Winning the lost and making disciples for Him. For 10 years that BCC embraced the G12 Vision, I have seen so many changes in our church, in peoples lives and of course in my life. Through the G12 Vision, I was trained and equipped for a greater purpose; discipled thoroughly by people whom God placed over my life. By the grace of God, I am also qualified to pass on what I had received to the lives whom God entrusted to me. Finding and building my team of 12 was not easy as one, two, three. It went through a lot of process, prayer and hardwork. People may come and go in the team but I'm blessed that there are really committed and passionate leaders to their calling in the Lord.

meet my team of 12 named as
Las Gracias Hijas
right-left -> Grace,Mary-lyn,Gemshe,Richell,Novy,Mary Ann,Vanessa,Olive,Rue,Daina
(taken during fdd+ukh Dominion Ball.only 10 of them were present. April and bam weren't able to join the dominion ball.)

1 Corinthians 15:10
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

this is where our network name came from.   indeed God's grace is not without effect in our lives!!

Most of my disciples have been with me for a long time. We've been together for like 2-5 years in the business of discipleship. And for that span of year/s a lot of training, sharpening, growing  and changing happened individually as well as a team.
For 2015, another mark of maturity took place for each one of us. It started with me as the lead of the team and along the way, it flows to them.
As part of reaching bigger goals and doing it effectively and strategically, a big change has been made. Starting with me, I no longer part of the Unique Ka Hijas primary 12, and was promoted to the WASP network which composed mostly of mothers. :) Since I was in for change, my team was also in for it. Three of them will remain at UKH network, one will be promoted to another adults network and the rest will also taste a promotion. (to be confirmed yet)
it is really a big shift for us as a team and individually, yet we believe that more than anything else, the goal is more important than the role and everything is all about Jesus and His kingdom. We were gathered for a moment to be trained and equipped, and it's time for us to be scattered like seeds ready to be planted and bear fruit.

Like Abraham, whose called to set a journey to a place which he did not know, still obeyed and trust God. Because of that obedience, a great reward was set for him.

Genesis 12:2-3 NIV

“I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.    I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

It really pays to obey. We haven't received yet the reward we are claiming, but the Lord has already set it along our way.

the commission
as Paul commissioned Titus

Titus 1:5 NIV

The reason I left you in Crete(Hijas) was that you might put in order what was left unfinished and appoint elders in every town, as I directed you.

To Rue,Novy and Daina may this Word inspire you to keep pressing forward in the Vision of winning the lost and making disciples. Put into practice every revelation and learning you have.Indeed, the grace of God in your life is not without effect but you will bear much fruit and fruit that will last.

it is my prayer that they will be effective and excellent to where they are planted right now. I'm blessed with their faithfulness and commitment and the resilient spirit they possessed as they overcome trials and test.

As for me, I am blessed to be given the trust and ability to lead people. Jesus made it all possible. He's the one who made us all qualified for this ministry.

This will be a year of lengths and width. Wherever my feet will set, it will be a place to conquer and dominate for the Lord.

More of Jesus this 2015!!!

Let's have a good beginning

Happy New Year!!!
new chapter has been opened
and there's a lot of things to expect and
look forward to.

2014 was a year of change, new discoveries,
discipline, favor, breakthroughs, together
with trials and challenges. Indeed, it took a lot of faith to move high mountains and
to travail dark Valleys.
God did never left me to face all those spices of life. I know in my heart that even I don't see things fell into place, God is in control of everything.
2014 has opened a lot of doors for me for my career, family, ministry and also the one that I did not expect, love. God enabled me to saw and grasped that a God written love story is really possible, well prayers ,a lot of prayers made it possible. (looking forward to write the details of the story on my next blog) God has taught me a lot through this relationship I'm in right now.

The time of favor has finally come! 2015, is a new yet the continuation of life that God entrusted to me to live for Him. Yea, a time to live to fulfill every heart's desire , but above all to live for God's glory according to His plans and purpose. I claim that this year will be a year of Restoration, Strength,Confirmation, and Establishing (1Peter 5:10)
my self, my relationship with the Lord, with others, every dreams and desires, everything that's left unfulfilled in 2014.
A chance to do things left undone and to do things that are new.

God is forever faithful! I may face this year with uncertainties, yet God's word seal everything with assurance that He works everything for my good.

more to see!!
all for God's Glory

He knows well!!!

Jeremiah 29:6-14

Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease. Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” Yes, this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have. They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them,” declares the Lord .   This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord , “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord , “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

* what God has purposed in His heart for everything especially to whom He created by His own image and breath will stand and will be fulfilled. Jeremiah chapter 29 is indeed a powerful declaration and a reminder for us. Many people question God about suffering and pain; is it part of his harmless and prosperous plan according to V.11 ? We forgot that PROCESS is one of the season that everyone must go through and surpass. Circumstances may not prove this, but in the eyes of faith, everything leads to that harmless and prosperous life.

*There is Nothing that God planned in His heart to hurt us. But sometimes that plan  requires pain, hurt and uncertainties to test our hearts and mind and  to make it obedient to God's word. Only God knows everything.. And I/we need to trust Him ; the promise He said and through His word.

* thank you Jesus!!
