Cellphone-"less"

#rest well

a little bit doleful as i said goodbye to my useful buddy; pinky-N95
has already retire. This was just handed down to me by mama way back
last year. It was not new when i got this, but still good.
Pinky-N95 has gone through a lot of operations from cellphone genius
before and i guess its time for it to rest now.
what i love about Pinky-N95 is the features and its ability to capture
moments like digital cameras. It's been my buddy and the witness for
every moment and memories i treasured most. (sigh) :)

Present research proves that gadgets such as cellphone is already a necessity
for a man to live. It is the fastest way to communicate someone especially
when long distance is amidst.
Still, face to face encounter is the best. a lot of times text messages causes
misunderstanding, fight and now crime for unwise using of this.
Cellphone is indeed one of the wonderful creation through God's given wisdom
to man.But it should not take much of our time and affection.

reasons why i need a new one:
Consolidating purposes-since the vision started,
using such gadgets is essential.people are sometimes limited with time and space,
and texting or calling them might help.so helpful to connect to my 12.

bridging the gap to my family way back to province.
since mama, my sister and the kids moved out, reaching them
through call and text means a lot especially when i miss them so much.

other errands. i do a lot of things.involving ministry,
business etc.
Note:  no textmate at all. graduate nako ana.hehehe..

and now I'am "cellphone-less" :)
Perhaps God is wrapping up my new one. iphone, samsung GalaxysIII,Blackberry,Myphone.
thank you God for being thoughtful.
sometimes you have to let go to receive.
yes. goodbye Pinky-N95, hello _______.

Hillsong - Cornerstone

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly trust in Jesus' Name

CHORUS
Christ alone
Cornerstone
Weak made strong
In the Saviour's love
Through the storm
He is Lord
Lord of all

VERSE 2
When darkness seems to hide His face
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil
My anchor holds within the veil

VERSE 3
When He shall come with trumpet sound
Oh may I then in Him be found
Dressed in His righteousness alone
Faultless stand before the throne

treat from a "fellow"

#blugre-licious

i guess its my first time to indulge in some blugre"delights".
thanks to you fellow, it was a great treat.

thoughtful fellow who's someone from the past.
yeah :) he's a fellow who made such effort to win this heart.
but it just didn't work. his effort was highly appreciated but not
promoted.well it's the best for the sake of all to just settle it there.
we both have on our own way differently right now. His happy with his
newly built family, and me joyful in building God's kingdom.

thanks to you fellow. it's been a while. :)

might not the best

#curriculum vitae

pressured? i guess? driven to venture a new job.
it's been a while since i resigned from my previous job. it was a worth decision
for the sake of ministry commitment.
but i can't deny the worldly pressure and self satisfaction it brings to
earn dues every 15/30 of the month comparing to an earning that comes by faith.
i was a little bit anxious and fretful. money is indeed a need right now, but its not all
about money.

# i attempt

because of those reasons, i attempt to apply for a job.
i tried call center companies, which i thought new to me. but those attempts
somehow led me to something real; real things that God wants me to realize and obey.

proverbs16:1 Mortals make elaborate plans, but God has the last word.

efforts denied. God thwarts the plan and His prevail.
it calls for trust and patience. I ended up thanking the Lord
for sparing me and saving me for the best. :)

#contract+covenant

the moment i was off to my secular job and tangled myself into
full time ministry, i knew that i was entering into
a battle about radical trust. to keep me posted on this decision,
i decided to make a contract which more of a covenant to God.
this will help me to remain on track and never do any plans
without the say of my one and only Employer.
it's a contract+covenant of faithfulness and endurance.
As companies usually do to their employees, assuring their commitment
and loyalty, signed and agreed contracts served as a bond between them.
it must be highly honored;if not, sanctions is at cost.
whenever i read this contract+covenant I'am checked
and reminded to whom and what i worked for.
I have the Greatest Boss/Father above all. nothing to worry.
i just have to make it in the best way.

Proverbs 21:31 Do your best, prepare for the worst—
then trust God to bring victory.

# season I'm in

God has its own beautiful time to fulfill our dreams. Perhaps this is a time for
faithfulness and loyalty to what he entrusted me. "forgive me Lord for i fret a lot of time".
My profession right now, is a full time daughter and must spend
quality time with the Father; Shepherdess, taking good care of my father's flocks;
servant, serving God's people. My salary depends according the glorious riches of my Heavenly Father.

#God is thoughtful

My Heavenly Father does not hoard good and pleasant things to His beloved child.
He is well-pleased to release the kingdom to those who learn to wait, trust and obey.
weew.. :0 much is given, much is required.

2nd round

 # 2nd Round

As promised i was able to gave a 2nd shot for my Fit & Right excursion.
This time the weather was cool and still breezy, the wild waves wasn't there,
the sea was very calm and sunrise was indescribable.(no pics :/)
With me this time were Marlyn and Che2, still part of my 12.
I really did make an effort to spend time with them at any how and any thing that
can work out for our different schedules since both of them are already working.
(nakees, if you happened to read this, i want to say thank you!)

after numbers or jog and brisk walking, we spent our breakfast at che's place.
She did made an effort to invite us and freely opened her very likable, vintage inspired house.
I'm starting to like vintage set ups, especially when it is done in homes. I find it so simple
yet elegant, calming and very appropriate.(new goal:learn for more about it)
I had taken just few pics of her vintage light and frame. I really love it.

For our comforting breakfast? cheese hotdog, Cornedbeef and Fried Rice was well served cooked
by auntie Judith(missed out to take pics of her). I give credit to her for welcoming
and being so nice to us.

# 3rd round and more to go!

one ' not so one sweet' day

one'not so sweet' day

i don't know how to start and array my thoughts and put it into words.
yes, its kinda not so sweet day; feeling a little bit of bitterness in  assenting  on
something you can't deny and  veer.

as what Prov13:12-Hope deffered makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

it  is really a breach when  the things that you thought you might have and  deserve  withered
away in just a moment. Something that  you hold so dearly in your heart yet finding out
it does not belong to you.( sigh)

this make my heart sick; but healing is in my reach. perhaps this is just one of the many process i have
to go through to make me more stronger and above all will teach me to place my trust to my Heavenly, loving Father.
i can't contain what this is all about, yet i have the willingness and eagerness to learn and make my self more
patient. i don't want to complain or even question God,  i know the real deal; He knows better than i.

this is just a matter of trust, faith and patience. how far am i willing to go and
pursue my God given dreams.. this is not something that will threaten me, but this is
something that will push me harder  in believing and not giving up on it.

as i was writing this, i got to glance the wall paper of my loppy and i was reminded
what should love be like. Love, bears, believes, hopes, endures and does not fail.
God is a God of variety. He loves to make different surprise for each one of us;
mine is unique and impeccable.  i got to believe and keep moving forward. God is never late in fulfilling his wonderful promises for me.

though my day isn't sugar coated, this is not my end.

2 corinthians 4:16 Therefore  I do not lose heart. though outwardly  I am wasting
away, yet inwardly I am renewed day by day.

there's a choice to be made; a choice of living life full of hope and trust,
straining to what the futute holds, or maybe live my  life from what my past dictates.

God's love never fails.. its the only thing that is true and will remain.
He can turn this one 'not so sweet' day into a day of feasting and celebration.
indeed God is good all the time. :)

good to see her

#bond and eat a lot

I'm so delighted to got the chance of bonding my cousin Rue Victoria and Vanessa.
It was unplanned yet a real time for me. It's been a while for me and Rue to catch up together.
Back then, we were room mates when they still live at our abode. We had a lot of talks. She's one of the
person i know who never runs out of things to talk about.(my patience of listening was indeed tested and improved)
We even considered our relationship like Naomi and Ruth has.
Yet, Time has gone so fast and a lot of changes took place. Whatever changes bloomed
she's still one of my best roommate and chat-mate. I missed our time together.

We enjoyed our super delicious Taho for only 10php. available inside Time Square, Ilustre D.C
and our ever fave munchkins of Dunkin Donuts.

#sa uulitin!

Fit & Right

Getting back into fit... :)
just decided to make some healthy steps to get back into shape.
since i reached the age of 20 i really did gained weight.
and now @ 26 I'm not that appease with my weight and form..
slightly conscious?  yes!

i still believe that every woman should be lovely in form.
Esther 2:7- .... Esther was lovely in form and features
no wonder people, especially king xerxes had his eyes on her.
most of us may excuse or justify that beauty from the inside counts more.
well that is perfectly correct. but we can't also deny that the physical looks also
matters as it is the reflection of what is inside.
perhaps it's not just about being beautiful, but what our health is at stake.
For today's lifestyle our health is at risk; lack of sleep, the kind of food that we eat,
our ever changing environment and our spiritual fitness. all of these affects our form and features.
we should be a good steward of this God given body; for to Him, he called this as the temple
and instrument. How God can use an unhealthy one? instead of being a channel of healing
we are the ones who badly need it.
We can have so many motivation to make it. we can use those to be consistent and persistent
until healthy living becomes a lifestyle.

with me was vanessa, one of my 12 who became my constant companion for a week.
we both enjoyed the breeze at the bay view in Ecoland famously known as the "statwa ni David".
unfortunately we can't go near to the seawall bcoz the waves at that time was as higher than us.
if you can try to look of one of the pic above it goes over to the wall level; the waves indeed went wild.
(lucky to capture the wave as it slams  to the wall. God is indeed amazing!)
it was a great time of bonding and conversation and more picture-picture(remembrance and blog sake)
after a number of rounds of jogs and stretching we end up feeling hungry.hehehe
we rush ourselves to a  carenderia for a breakfast.(hope wala nabawi ang burned fats :)

more to go.. excited to get fit and right!

chicken curry

# 3 on the list

at last! here it is! :)
My favorite and ever desired viand; CHICKEN CURRY w/ LOVE.
I audaciously cooked this one of my favorite lutong- Bahay viand. I've been wanting
to try and learn how to do this. I'm so happy and fulfilled.hehehe :)
(just give this to me)
more to learn though, but this was an accomplishment. thank you pipz for helping me out
and guiding me.

I prepared this for my  pinalanggang God squad. Yes, this is one of my role sa team. aside
from overseeing, i always feel excited to prepare their dinner after a tiresome practice.
I take it seriously in planning the menu.hehehe..
forgetting not their comments: some said it was delicious;
but most of them did not utter any word. I'm not pretty sure if that silence means
they're out words to describe how delicious it was, or maybe the're that super hungry.(no choice)
anyways; whatever!!??
as i always declare, I am a chef in the making; but the rest says,
nangandam for the future. Hence, i could have them both.

# what's next?

my best companion

 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
(Ecc.4:9)

I am really blessed to have with me, Vanessa Mae Jaspe
one of my 12, to make some duties as an overseer
of our one satelite church in monkayo.
Lahi ra gyud pa naa kay kauban, especially pag disciple pa jud
nimo.. lots of conversation, laugh and
discovering new things from each other does make our
4 hours road trip worth it. indeed love is spelled as time.

Doing a ministry with your team of 12 does great things.
Even Jesus knew this principle. Perhaps he can do the
ministry alone because He is Jesus, yet he shared it
with his team of 12. Wherever Jesus went, there his disciples
following him and witnessing all the miracles and powerful work
of him. And every sacrifices that the disciples made was
given its due reward.

Your team of 12 must have the same wavelength
of vision, passion and commitment you have.
they must walk with you faithfully and unwaveringly.
Willing to open their lives and hearts to be mold and
discipled. Not everyone can be a disciple; not everyone
is willing to take up his cross unconditionally.
That's why we should look for disciples not just benefactors
of Christ's love ang grace and showing no results.

DREAM DISCPLES(by: Ptr. Rufino Lagat)

D - ETERMINED
R - ESILIENT
E- XCELLENT
A - NOINTED
M - INISTER

You do not expect them to be seemingly perfect,
but you want to see them walk and grow in God's grace
in humility and willingness. Overcoming and
striving to reach the finish line.
Above all, a disciple whose LOVE for the Lord is
never measured of what he has and what he does not possess.
all out Love..

More DREAM disciples to come!
