we had checking our scoreboard and thank you Lord it's growing. more! suddenly the conversation veered to matters of the heart. =) how did it connect to the scoreboard? well i guess it's also vital to check the scoreboard of our hearts.. it was indeed an heart opener and an intense call to pray more. Through out the conversation there was this analogy shared to us by che2, one of my disciple. I did heared different views from each of them, we did disagree at some point, parties were drawed, and cheers composed but what tied us as 1 was the true meaning of love and it's importance.
i want to share the analogy that was shared by Yche Saavedra (che2).
Che2: akoa nay pag abot sa gugma nag sabot nami ni Lord. Sa karon ok kaayo ko na siya lng ang naa sa ako. (not looking for someone :). nice nak )
kay para sa ako Love is like a GIFT/REGALO. I dont want to end up opening the wrong gift that is not intended for me, it may belong to someone. dili bya ka gnahan na maabrihan imong regalo sa uban. I dont want to open the gift in the wrong time. even how wonderful it is, but when you had it in the wrong time(meaning your preparedness to open and received it) you might not appreciate it. i believe God prepared for each one of us a gift that we deserve and need, we just have to wait for it patiently. for now the greatest gift that i have is the love of God.
=) i know this is just simple analogy of love that we all desire and pray. while she was talking, i know it drawed a smile on my face thinking "tama jud! ayaw pangabri ug regalo nga dili imoha ug wala sa panahon. you will ruin the wrapper, the box, the gift itself, the giver and above all the true owner of that gift. you might damage the whole package of it. you might destroy the real identity and purpose of that gift. yes, God has a grace to restore and make all things new, but i would strongly believe "prevention is better than cure, to prepare is better than repair." maski ikaw sa imo kaugalingon, dili ka gusto mahitabo na sa imo. Sa karon enjoy the gifts that God allowed you to have; your relationship to HIM, your family, friends, the ministry and yourself. Perhaps, the Lord is making you also a wonderful gift for someone that deserves. Allow the Lord to wrap on you his grace, hid you in the Box of HIs security, lavished you by His Ribbons of Beauty, and tagged you by His great and unchanging LOVE; this will make us the greatest Gift.
we all deserve to have that GIFT. Jesus paid it on the cross. we must wait for it, pray for it, and prepare ourselves to have it. Beautiful things comes to those who knows how to wait.
make sense?
